Degree Programs
With the Rochester Bridges to the Doctorate program, getting a doctorate is now more possible than ever.
To become a Bridges Scholar, students must be accepted to a RIT master’s program (listed below). During their time of training at RIT, Scholars will begin preparations to apply for a Ph.D. program in a biomedical or behavioral science discipline. The University of Rochester is an excellent option (potential program options listed below), and we encourage our Scholars to submit a number of applications to various universities around the country. Scholars will prepare for careers as university professors, laboratory directors, and research scientists.
